A PPC works like a season ticket, it lets you get as many NHS prescriptions as you need for a set price. If you need more than 11 prescribed medicines a year it can save you money. You can also buy three month certificates, which will save you money if you need more than three prescribed medicines in three months.

A PPC costs:
12 months - £114.50, 3 months - £32.05

How do I buy a PPC?
The quickest way is online at nhsbsa.uk/ppc  or you can buy at a registered pharmacy, or you can call 0300 330 1341.
NHS App
The NHS App is owned and run by the NHS, it can be accessed by anyone over the age of 13 and registered with a GP in England or Isle of Man.
What does the app do?
• View your health record including your medical history, test results, allergies and medicines
• Register as an organ donor
• Take part in health research
• Order repeat prescriptions and nominate a preferred pharmacy for your prescriptions
• Book appointments with your GP surgery
• Book and manage hospital appointments
• Manage vaccination appointments
• Contact your GP surgery
