After reaching my year milestone without a cigarette, I feel much better, and it’s one less thing to worry about.
Recently, when at work, I was on the usual smoke break with my work friends and asked for a cigarette, the routine creeping back in; after a few puffs, I knew it wasn’t for me and handed it straight back.
I wouldn’t say I liked the taste, and my brain rejected the whole experience, proving that I have now successfully come to the other side of my quitting journey.
Financially, I have noticed little changes, such as treating my grandchildren to sweets in readiness for Halloween.
